Vivian Hu

Vivian’s research interests lie in bio/cheminformatics, data mining, and scientific text mining. At the MMLI, Vivian works with Dr. Jiawei Han on chemical text mining; specifically, her current projects include distantly supervised domain-specific named entity recognition, and evidence mining in biomedical and chemistry literature. She is also working on machine learning and deep learning projects in drug discovery.
