Dr. Chen is a postdoctoral research fellow in Blender Lab at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), working with Prof. Heng Ji. His research mainly aims at improving reasoning, alignment, and decision-making of Large Language Models (LLMs).
He completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), advised by Prof. Wei Wang. Before UCLA, he received his B.S. in Computer Science from Peking University, advised by Prof. Jun Gao. He also worked with Prof. ChengXiang Zhai at UIUC for a summer. During Ph.D., he spent two summers at Amazon Science and one summer at NEC Labs America.
He played for Peking University Men’s Basketball Varsity Team, Division II, during college.
